I believe the expression you are looking for is "TAKEN possession".
Head2641 you honestly have no idea and I gather have never played a game of football in your life.
The ball was on the boundary line, if Maxwell takes possession he would take it out and force a throw in making it a 50/50 contest. If he shepards as has been part of the game for 100 years then our boy runs onto the ball and gathers (as he did) and we have possession. I have no problem with the intensity Maxwell shows on the ground and if you watch closely it was as hard and fair a bump as you could get and not only does he not leave the ground his knees are FLEXED when he hits so not sure how else he could've bumped the other guy.
I know you are so one eyed you can't see anything your feeble mind doesn't want to but I'll ask you this, how do you go watching Steven Baker play each week with the way he goes about things? Now I am the first to say I'd like his type of player on our list but gathering from your obvious hatred of the way Nick Maxwell plays I gather you are not a fan of Bakers?
