You never see ASX reverse any trades after these so-called queries and investigations either. Others here may remember the engineered dump of Whitehaven Coal shares back in 2013. Whilst the circumstances are completely different - there’s was a hoax press release from an environmental activist - it was a clear case of misinformed investors losing out due to cut & dried market manipulation. But even that didn’t see trades reversed. And today, the regulators simply don’t have the tools to manage social media spread. Just look at what happens on the Nasdaq every night!
