I've been a long (1997) holder of Norton (not as long as Rabbitoh..I can remember reading his posts when I first started looking at NGF)....I've tried to remain optimistic about NGF, and yes, on a number of times have I posted in the affirmative for Norton...However, I can't help but wonder if TestPilot is infact, correct....

Let's face it, the hedge isn't the issue...NGF's valuation has reflected the burden of the hedge for over the last 12 months...ie, the effects of the hedge have long been factored into the share price....the problem that I'm starting to worry about, is that a number of gold producers have faired favourably over the last 6 months, the broader market has absolutely rocketed since March, and my beloved NGF has been going downwards on frightfully low volumes since then...ie, absolutely no-one is even remotely interested in it....Forget this stuff about the AUD and the POG, bottom line is that not one big player gives a stuff about NGF at the moment...

More so, the recent Diggers & Dealers conference has totally failed to inspire...Despite the one broker giving a single favourable review, there have been others rumouring question-marks about NGF's level of debt and ability to service long term..

I suppose what I'm trying to say, is that don't write TestPilot's view off....I for one, and again, I've always been pro NGF (just search my posts over ther last 12 months), am listening to what he has to say with an open mind...a counsellor once posed the question to me (marriage trouble stuff, we all go through it) "do you want to be RIGHT...or do you want to be HAPPY?????"....I'm starting to wonder if I'm better off swallowing my pride on NGF, and trying to find some other joy outside this sector...

But Hainholz, please don't stop your posts...you're the Oxford Dictionary definition of an "optimist"!!!

Good luck to all, no matter what your position...anyone who still has the balls to be in the market after the last 18 months deserves good fortune...

    Clozapine....
