Thanks for the non-assistance. As i said, i'm new to this stock but about a week ago asked a few questions around treatment of options ... at that time there was much 'advice' floating around Capital Gains TAX. Perhaps we have different ideas about what constitutes 'advice' ...
Mine? is if someone says for example ... 'you should ...' or 'it would be best if you ...' ... that sort of thing.
Responding to the question 'How does the ATO treats 'forced' sale of shares after a compulsory buy-out? comes nowhere near asking for tax advice in my book.
Since none of my posts (or the one useful reply so far (from JimmyBGood) have been moderated, i'm confident my question is fine.
If you don't know the answer. It's OK to simply say 'I don't know' .. or of course exercise your right to remain silent.
