Sorry about my reply, was rather short the other day as I was extremely busy and I saw no one was responding to your posts. ATO will never cut anyone any slack. They'll chase you for their dollars and plonk interest on top.So to answer your question, same applies as before, unless you've held for 1 year, CGT discount can't be applied. It makes a massive difference in the end.
My personal opinion is that IMU are trying to take this further themselves and won't be bailing out any time soon but you never know, when the price is right, the price is right.
