Here is my personal understanding, some of it from personal experience of the top end (no experience in the Andes).

I've been told that because of the type of rig we have operating in Peru (tracks not wheels) , and because it is already positioned up in the relevant areas that there is no reason drilling can not continue over all seasons.

Australia; Frewenas are meant to start by October latest I believe . The drilling will be scheduled so that areas that would be difficult in the wet (and it can get REALLY wet) will be jumped into first (Mt lamb and nearby as they would be a no go if the wet was on). Areas like Crosswinds and Jumping Spider we can actually drill through the wet if desired. Barkly Homestead is the regional hub, accommodation, telstra though slow, meals, bar and pool table. From Barkly homestead down to Crosswinds (or whatever Inca call it now ) is 10 or so kilometres along the bitumen and the drill pad will possibly be only 100m off the highway. Jumping Spider is another 10-20km along the bitumen and drill pads again close by the highway. They can be drilled in the wet (unless it gets really, really wet)

So I think we will see plenty of drilling in the later part of this year and that next year will see a further acceleration.

I've spend summers in the Cape and other parts up north and some years the rains do come late November/ or December. I've also seen the rains really not arrive until early January. I think we will get a good look at things before the rain forces a halt. The trick up there is if u get rain for a day or two and it then dries out for some days, you can usually move as normal. It's only when you have a continuous rainy period or a serious deluge (which does happen) that you are simply locked in place for weeks on end.

I'm not sure that there are plans to hit MaCauley this year, I suspect that is more likely next year but when they do drill there, they are very free draining granites so rain may be a hindrance but I doubt it would be a show stopper. Once again, some of the potential drill sites we can get very close to via the bitumen.
