It's not out by factor 100, it's spot on, you try and muddy reality.
I chose the UK and Italy because they are the most similar to Sweeden in what happened. UK and Italy were hit hard early, covid spread unhindered for quite a while, then they moved to lockdowns etc, Sweeden is similar because covid was also spread unhindered early and left unhindered in comparison to the UK lockdown, without Lockdown and masks Sweeden has come out better than the Uk/Italy and many other nations, yes some nations are doing better but life is relatively normal in Sweeden whereas these other countries life is no where near normal.
Australia is lucky it could contain the first waves before delta and because we are an isolated island our lockdowns were able to have good effect early unlike those EU countries so we are lucky, however this delta strain keeps spreading with lockdown so it's going to spread, theres no stopping it imo, Aus now has most it's 70+ and most vulnerable vaxed, we won't have anywhere near the death rate of Sweeden or UK etc now because of the vaccines, about time we returned to normal imo, if not now, soon.
