AustinNZ, they are already attempting to obtain our state secrets through hackers etc.
There was a recent incident in Canberra where 2 x Chinese women wearing running gear and carrying cameras and a map, were observed taking photo's of a particular Government facility at 7.30 am in the morning when people were arriving for work.
The women were also carrying what appeared to be a GPS. They were observed taking photo's of the facility, and taking photos of the people that were going to work there at the facility.
When they realized they had been noticed, the camera was then brought down to her hip and the camera continued to flash The ridiculous thing about it all, is that they were not detained for questioning by the complacent police officer that questioned them at the time.
The film should have been confiscated. They the Chinese are engaged in this type of behavior on a regular basis.
