My personal opinion on the direction the company will take from here, and that is all it is, is that Fred and all the major shareholders, and many of the smaller holders like myself, see the company not as a step towards having a saleable venture that they hope they will get offered a heap of money for. Rather they understand that they have a product that is going to appear in a host of products of all kinds, from top end audio equipment down to talking IoT devices like bus timetable and booking systems. AP chips will be everywhere sound needs to be made by some kind of device. Given that near universal kind of market why would you sell the company and its unique IP to a single CE manufacturer who would corner their own particular market when you could just as easily get every competitor in every market?

It puts me in mind of the old joke about an old bull and young one approaching the fence towards the adjoining paddock that is full of pretty young heifers, when they discover that the fence is down in one spot over in the corner. The young bull says "Hey look! The fence is down over there, lets run down quick and get us a few heifers! What are we waiting for?" The older bull takes a few more chews of grass and turns calmly to the younger one, and says "Nope, a bit more feed to keep our strength up, then we'll sidle over the fence and have them all!"

    Nuff said?
