I would not like to see the company sold to any single player in the global space unless they were also going to be a supplier to all other companies that would be users of the chip. A single player, e.g. Apple or Samsung, Sony or LG, etc, would make a point of not selling to its main rivals, and thus denying the whole market the opportunity to take up the tech. AKP or its new owner would not sell as many chips and I would be more likely to miss out on all that AKP revenue. I think that is also likely to to be the largest holders' perspective.
Just think of the dominance of Microsoft in the market for its Office products. Its just a market monopoly.
