I think you are mixing up social good and maximum cashflow and hoping they go hand in hand bob.
They dont, Monopolies are worth Billions, and that is where the money is.
The strategy to make the chips and not sell is just playing hard to get maybe. Once AKP slaps apple in the face, flashes her skirt and walks away, you might find a big fat B number thrown her way to make her take notice.
The fact that Apple, could buy AKP, and decimate all competition, is potentially more valuable than selling x number of widgets to everybody. Apple would potentially become "Everybody" and if they see the value of that.
Could be more like 100B or 500B.
USA would love to see one of their companies f* up the Chinese and Korean operators to be honest, especially if manufacturing comes back under American control, could see some back room deals done.
You never know, we dont operate in a nicey nicey honest world.
If its as good as people say it is, then AKP could be an international tech manufacturing game changer and catalyst for Economic warefare and dominance.
