As most Coppers agree, the ASX abounds with itzy bitzy mining exploration companies. I myself personally have ‘enjoyed’ mixed success owning this sort of stock over the years.
ASX announcements suggesting the start of exploratory drilling could easily cause a 10% SP rise, whilst eureka moments were/are generated by ASX announcements that a mineral seam has been discovered.
It never seems to matter that no reference is made about whether commercial quantities are involved, the ASX have and continue to welcome tiny mining exploration companies making these types of announcements.
On 16 August’21, our battler announced it had received the first batch of Akida chips from its manufacturing run, yet the ASX deemed it unworthy.
BRN stated in the press release ‘These production units from Socionext and TSMC (worldwide industry leaders btw) will be part of pioneering devices that are at the forefront of Beneficial AI, as we approach production shipments of boards and systems in Q4 2021’.
This is equivalent to mining exploration companies announcing that not only have commercial quantities of whatever mineral they’d been looking for have been discovered, but mining operations are commencing, and they’ll be shipping the said minerals mined to paying customers in Q4 2021.
Most of us know Australia and the ASX understand digging up rock and shipping it to someone, but it’s time they got a tad more sophisticated, and got up to speed on exactly how important announcements like the above by BRN are.
Entirely my own opinion - DYOR.
