Another factor that you touched on is the sociability of people. This is a major factor. The majority of people are sociable. They follow the consensus. They are NOT troublemakers. They are the fashionable people. Agreeable and popular. Most normal people. And by association do not harbor outrageous ideas.

Politics at the national level is all about managing and manipulating the social, fashionable or concensus view, outside of clothes that is. One one side or the other, depending on your 'politics'.

But when it comes to anti vaxxers and anti mask and anti covid in general then these people are all seriously anti social. I don't even think the science comes into it because they would all clearly loose that argument. I think its really about anti government control. Anti conformity. Being different.

The anti vaxxers are anti social.
