I think arguing over differences in interpretation is pointless however the clarification that - mineralogically-speaking -“conversion” is a heat related process is useful.
I still think the wording in that article I responded to was ambiguous to laymen
On this basis I said the Kwinana plant does not convert anything to spodumene.
Your point Kwinana converts (using heat) from spodumene into lithium hydroxide is correct.
