Nearly 6 years ago, I bought a King Protea plant. I love those flowers so wanted one in my garden too.
The guy at the nursery told me it would flower within 3 years.
Come 2020, it had been 5 years and there was nothing. I was quite disappointed because it wasn't flowering still.
But I knew it would and decided to wait.
The pictures were taken this morning. I gave it another year and the first flower is opening up npw with a few more ready to go.
A good example of patience paying off.
