The bulls stopped grazing happily, and turned their eye to the intruding bear on their turf.

....To cut a long story short, your gore wounds will heal. Eventually.

And yes, from your hospital bed you roll your eyes when the matronly nurse reminds you that bears awakening from hibernation are weak... and should never approach very fit and dangerous bulls.
