For anyone wondering why we have had the massive German interest in CNJ we need to consider a few facts.

Germany is a massive economy with a large population and is both aware of the need to source as many necessary raw materials as locally as possible and also the need to actual transitioning now with cleaner energy.

The continent of Europe has been covered for many years in wind turbines and solar panels on a scale that dwarfs any efforts to date here. Private small solar uptake has been big here but things are going green on a massive industrial scale in Europe.

Part of the push for sustainability is sourcing things closer to home. This is where Greenland can come in.
Being very close to both the USA and European markets any base metals we find, precious metals, REEs, high grade iron ore will all find a market close to mine.

Not that we will be miners but potential J/V partners and T/O suitors/large mining companies are closely watching our progress that is certain.

Back to Germany, to see the interest in what Aussie companies are adding to their renewable space look at the progress of Vulcan (ASX VUL), its gone from under a dollar a bit over a year ago to about $14 now. They are looking to produce Lithium and energy (both green) from geothermal brines in the Rhine Valley.

A spin out company of VUL being ASX KNI that just listed on the back of an old Cobalt deposit and an old copper mine in Norway has gone from the list price which I think was 20c to about $3.20 today (having over double our market cap already). This is before any drilling on the prospects of whats left in a couple of old mines and tailings!!

So European interest in renewables and battery minerals in huge, especially from Northern Europe and Scandinavia and any resources in that part of the world are attracting huge interest too. Europeans think of Greenland as being a part of it, they speak Danish, they are just over the water, once we see a breakthrough discovery with any battery metals be that copper, nickel, REEs European interest will be massive.

You are beginning to sound very much like that all-knowing Markeyboy when you start talking of takeovers and JV at this stage of the game. Perhaps you might be thinking of taking over CNJ in the same way as Markeyboy was once going to takeover Eden.
It was good that FMG did not have you two advising them to seek a t/o or j/v when the Fortescue share price was 16 cents many years ago. Current FMG price is $20.20 after a 10 for 1 share split, which translates to a pre-split share price of $202.00 a share.
If CNJ find what they are looking for, they will be able to raise funds for mining Greenland by judicious small share placements at ever increasing prices. I am 40 years old and can afford to ride this one out over the next 30 years. A CNJ share price of $200 somewhere down the track would do me real fine dandy. I can sit and dream and wait. Time is on my side. Only old folk wanting to raise money immediately for their nursing home beds right now will talk of T/o or J/v in this early stage if the drilling comes out good.
