Yes, Fixed-odds has been stuck with the regulators……..this was always a possibility as the Dept of Gaming required the NJRC to approve the Pilot Program. The NJRC was hoping to see a 12 month trial results (as they thought it would cannibalise the pari-mutuel)………when BET bought Sportech (who is the pari-mutuel provider in NJ) it was hoped that the NJRC would adopt the regulations when they became law…….We may just have to wait for the Fixed-odds laws and regulations to be presented at the NJRC Septembers meeting.
My original estimate of FY 22 Rev of $97+M is going to be well and truly short of the mark I think!!
