Thank you for the sanity check. All I've been hearing from the bulls is "stock price, bro" with absolutely no thinking on how and when Qantas could ever, realistically return to profitability or how they'll avoid running out of cash in the meantime.

Bubbles are a prime example of herd mentality and there is no better example than $QAN shareholders who don't question a single thing that Joyce has been telling them or doubt that Morrison's "National Plan" is nothing but "Last Resort Plan" after failing with a vaccine program, failing with a dedicated quaratine facility program and then failing to support a state level lockdown strategy for when those both failed.

People celebrating the lifting of lockdowns don't see that they've come about because Australia has failed to fight off covid (even though it could've as a vast continent nation surrounded by sea). Hospitals in Sydney are already barely coping. Imagine how they'll be at the end of this month. Yet shareholders think that there will be queues of people wanting to fly to Bali. Utterly insane.
