Barrier to entry would be development of software good enough to entice customers to switch, integrations with cameras, integrations with property management platforms such as PropertyMe and PropertyTree, and there's a patent pending I believe assuming for some of their IP. Not huge barriers but not something a bloke in his Mum and Dad's basement would knock over swiftly, and there's a decent amount of $ invested to get to where they are now.
It's a slow process taking hundreds of photos, completing the inspection on paper, and sharing with landlords / tenants for sign off. Software, and HD panoramic photos can make it a lot faster and of higher quality.
