Eddie do not forget there are rules to keep the indexes from churning. this is where a stock is admitted one Q then deleted a Q later This is why many Qs occur with no addition or deletions. The rule with biggest impact is for admission the company must be ranked at least 84th or higher so if your are correct than at 82 Lynas Lynas will be admitted. To be deleted they have to be ranked 116 or lower. This is clearly spelled out on PG 11 of the following Doc. There are 25 pages of requirements to move between ASX classes Like from 200 to 100. If you want to make predictions you should study rules.

How did you decide 82 ? If you just looked at market cap of ASX 100 and inserted Lynas between 81 and 83 that will not work! There are many waiting and they might have higher market caps. The ASX 200 has all the companies in 100 so it is easy.
I copied the ASXX 200 into a Spread sheet and sorted by market Cap https://www.marketindex.com.au/asx200
Here is the results. So to day Lynas is at 89 and will not make it. Things change every day so who knows. I do not think they will make it. we will see. Comments pls.

Just fyi ALX is in 84 place with a MC of 6.521M
Do you know how they picked the dates for changing the list? I thought it was kind of strange. When I read the above document they explained it and it makes lots of sense,
