There are days where I think things are almost too predictable around here!! 85 million AVLO traded today and there is honestly someone out there stupid enough to think investors don't know exactly what's happening. I guess because the buys were spread out a bit then that must mean it's a bunch of different entities that all just happened to stumble across the options today, buy ten of millions each, and coincidently bail out all those "investors/clients" who found themselves under water after just 3 days. Amazing that huh? Almost as coincidental as the massive spike in volume before the "on sale" shares announcement came out. Must be nice to get bailed out of a stupid decision. Or maybe it was the sale of a couple of batteries announced today, yeah yeah that must have been it!
I'd say I'm 90% confident I know who now owns those options. It will be interesting to see how it works out for them. I honestly don't know. My gut had always told me that when the BFS came out, things would go great. It certainly looked like it until this circus of a cap raise. When I then took my rose glasses off, it suddenly dawned on me that there was absolutely nothing to base my assumption on. What new information is going to be in it? Why is it that the only thing vanadium explorers talk about is batteries, when over 90% of vanadium is used elsewhere?? Could it be that there is no more need in those other areas? If there is room for growth, then why aren't you smart enough to talk about it??? Who's got half a BILLION dollars to lend out to a 10 year old speckie mining company during COVID? Look what was just given away to buy a damn TRUCK that's used on a mining site!!! So this document will have people throwing money out the windows as you walk down the street? Let's see!! How does that monster deal even come together with Australia lagging so far behind lockdown wise? Will those AVLOA's even have enough time now to have any real value? They expired worthless last time, and with 6 months to go time was the absolute ENEMY!!
No doubt I'll soon fall into the grumpycat category. Mildly insulting, but I can live with it. As I wrote back to someone the other day, "please just let me know where anything I've said is not 100% true and I'll make sure to take it down and straighten out the record". Haven't heard back, but the offer still stands. The arrogance of what just happened is mind blowing. Like in life, we all make mistakes. We do crappy things to those that have supported us in the past, like the gentleman someone posted about recently, trying to get what we want, and playing with certain crowds. You find out what kind of character is behind a person or company (and there's been plenty of time) when they have, or don't have the decency to come out and talk about those decisions rather than crawling under a rock and snickering.
I'm afraid you may be quite sick of me by Christmas with all this COVID time on my hands....................
