Speaking of which, I recently got in touch with a certain RADAR Field Applications Engineer from Socionext US (who wrote an article about RADAR applications), and asked if Akida was currently used in their solutions. Apparently they don't use any AI currently, so I mentioned the MagikEye's use or Akida in the DK-ILT001 and provided a link to the youtube video. It's interesting that what I assume to be corporate compartmentalisation often works to the detriment of a company's progress.
He replied "This is certainly interesting information on AI. I know this would be a good fit, going forward with RADAR." and "... it takes a tremendous amount of signal processing to make sense of such raw data. I believe AI can certainly help to sift through such data." so I provided him with Rob Telson's and Juan Chapa's email addresses. Fingers crossed (and prayers).
