A few observations on the SP behavior before ex-dividend date:
- in previous 2 occasions one day before the ex-dividend date the SP for FMG dropped on 28/08/20 and 26/02/21, but today the SP is up
- BHP had an ex-dividend yesterday, the BHP SP dropped yesterday by $3.09 having a FF dividend of ~$2.74, so the investors got a benefit of (~40%x$2.74 - $0.35)=~$0.74/share and today BHP shares are up by ~1.6%.
