I've noticed a few 'unnecessary ' cap raisings lately - companies that still have plenty on hand but are still raising. I'm wondering if some specs are trying to shore up their cash position in case of a crash? I wasn't in the market last time there was a big crash -wondering if anyone here was, and remembers how hard it was for specs to raise cash?
