Thanks for the info - I think I'm going to do something similar to you - 2 accounts -one for trading and one for investing - I bought my first lot of shares in May /june o8 -what a journey! - so I'm still learning.

If I had this set up over the last couple of months I would have made quite a few dollars- but because i was sitting on profits i didn't trade because of CGT implications

I would have bought RIO at $46 -when the RIO director was arrested in China, more of CABcharge when it was $5.00 due to court proceedings the list goes on.... buy in gloom sell in boom!!!but I didn't proceed with the above due to the fact i couldn't sell anything to pay for it!!

I'm really enjoying investing and reading up on companies and posts on hot copper -as long as you filter out the rubbish! I've had a really good run of late -as I'm sure everyone else has too. Swapping into small caps in Feb/ March has been an absolute winner. Go ASL, IDL and MAH!!-great calls Mike -are you participating in the SPP and DRP for IDL? Did you ever have a look at IDT -has come back a bit recently -FF divies no debt -health company with growth prospects.
