Just a couple of observations/opinions....

Can't see AED opting out of the Longtom purchase, these delays and cost increases were stated in their joint update on LT July 21st. With hook up due for completion in just 6 weeks, why would AED walk from such an opportunity? Having said that, 100% ownership sounds more appealing.

As far as the pending suit is concerned, Sedco have stated that they've had 5 or 6 cancellations, citing current global financial conditions and a waning oil price. Surely this applies to NXS as it does to others. Sedco appear to have a busy legal itinerary ahead.

Capital raisings are inevitable for securing development funding, just finding support for a decent cap raising in this climate is a fair effort in itself. Would prefer financial stability at this point because time will bring its rewards.

Now l am bias of course as l own NXS shares, and the above are my opinions only. Like most l do what l consider reasonable due diligance and realise that a stock like NXS is not without its risks. I have haven't poured hundreds of thousands into this, but l have enough invested to put a real dent in my future if it fails, but to also be a huge benefit should this succeed and really take off.

That is what keeps me sane and hopeful, l have waffled on about my stuffy collar and tie job that craps me right off, but each morning when l put the monkey suit on l wonder whether today will be the day when l can get more financial freedom to wave the finger at the boss. Even if NXS stays at these levels for ages yet, l couldn't stand not being in it, it's like buying a tatts ticket, it provides hope and apprehension that something great is around the corner.

Every time l get crapped off at work, l think of Crux, Echuca Shoals and Longtom. I get impatient and annoyed, however l'll put up with the stress, the frustration and the disappointments 'cos you gotta be in it to win it!
