These proteins are the "spike protein", although artificial it is supposed to be the same as in the wild virus. Your body produces the spike protein, recognises it and attacks it and then is supposed to be prepared for when the wild virus hits. However there are many more parts to the virus and epidemiologist have warned it could be dangerous to mass vaccinate with this type of vaccine as it puts pressure on the virus to mutate the spike protein. There are also issues of how many and for how long your body is producing these spike proteins and where they are ending up. Hence a very good first question by hokusai of how many boosters are enough? Are boosters increasing risk of side effects? Ive asked this before, are spike proteins ending up in the heart and causing heart inflammation? I don't know, but I think it warrants discussion.

you seem to have a misunderstanding of what 'spike proteins' are and possibly their size.... spike proteins are common among viruses and the host cells have receptors for such. its how the virus knocks on the cell door asking for entry.https://msi.umn.edu/~lifang/flpapers/fang_li_annual_review_virology_2016.pdf is a scientific paper addressing the description and function of glycoproteins..... excellent read.
