Good post brother and I couldn't agree with you more. Posts like "who cares" etc are obviously from people who were not holders during the Ox/Zin days as I know you were. I remember the days in my last career when nobody cared until it happened to them. Offences need to be investigated and it is the interests of all share holders to make sure people are held accountable. I got out of OZL last month at a reasonable loss. I have moved on however I still watch the goings on of the company closely as I to believe OH and AM still need to answer some of the hard questions. ASIC's Deterrence Team, within the Financial Economy Group, handles all major investigations, and the referral of matters for criminal prosecution, conduct of civil litigation and conduct of administrative hearings.
We are currently seeking to appoint individuals with strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail, to oversee the investigation of breaches of the Corporations Act. Making certain that all stakeholders are kept informed, you will gather, compile and analyse evidence to determine the validity of allegations of misconduct.
In order to be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated experience in an investigative, intelligence or complaint assessment role. Previous experience examining complex commercial transactions and financial analysis in a corporate environment is advantageous. Established project management skills and experience giving evidence in court is highly beneficial.
