What I don't understand is if the aggregate reported short sell amount fell by approx 29m on the 31st Aug, why on comsec, I can only see a trading volume of 5.5m, and even 1st Sep trading volume was only 10.4m? Is that because when short seller close position, they report the closed amount on a different date to the action date? I hope someone with more knowledge can help me out here. Im a little confused.
