Note the "closing" price on the Dalian exchange is the volume-weighted price for the day prior (usually around the midpoint of the prior day's trade) which is a really frustrating reference point to use.... Dalian is actually up about 5% from where it actually closed yesterday.
I put some speculative bets on today:
- Sold $16.50 Oct Puts
- Purchased $18 Oct Calls
- Sold $19.50 Oct Calls
Cost about 15c per share to put in place.
The idea been to hopefully anchor and keep rolling the $18 calls forward whilst moving up the sold calls as a funding trade overtime.
