Then why did they go to great lengths to say they encourage early applications and at their discretion will decide on who gets what based on when they apply and whether they buy and sell through the period.

And they also had the chance to close the SPP way early.

So in my view, they used language to imply that early applications by non-trading holders would be given preference in the SPP.

If everyone is scaled back equally then that is the "lazy" way out.

Today's announcement states that "all"applications will be scaled back but it doesn't same if they will all be the same - just as per the terms of the SPP document.

So let's see if they do the scale back equally for all or not. I'm thinking they will but hoping they don't!!
