Capital One preventing the use of its credit cards to be used to BNPL might not be because they're trying to be responsible lenders and preventing low income earners getting to unmanageable debt.

It might be because they are threatened by BNPL and this is the only thing they could dream up to combat the threat.

After all, if Capital One were trying to be responsible lenders, then they wouldn't let their customers use their credit cards for gambling.
