i highly doubt inflation is transitory. rents are sky rocketing in america and aren't going down, in their inflation data they purposely omitted the most important sectors, read somewhere if they calculated inflation like in the 80s it would be in the high 9%.
people aren't going back to work, companies must raise wages. wait til wages start rising, then inflation is permanent. powell will be forced to raise to 3%+
and no, gold has little to do with inflation, history has shown this gold/inflation is a meme.
