Beans, my point was that good quality data can still be hard to interpret in complex areas. By noise I meant non-hydrocarbon causes of CSEM anomalies, which may be hard to distinguish from the real thing, rather than poor quality data.
I'm only speculating of course but my point is that we shouldn't assume the worst (and I also wouldn't be at all surprised if we hear phrases like 'global portfolio rationalisation' or similar!)
