Reduction of scarce materials aside LFP batteries being less prone to fire ( safer) is a huge market advantage.
personally I'm working with Aust authorities at the moment on a few projects and they are very risk adverse to any inclusion of lit ion batteries due to fire and suppression - in two years LFP will be an adopted standard at least in developed countries IMO.
LFP is a no brainer now that the performance is like for like if not better.
