Currently E25 would be losing money producing manganese ore, the price of Mn ore is so low and freight costs would be killing them.
China port stocks are high and the Chinese Government is shutting down alloy furnaces which is driving up the price of Manganese alloys.
Eramet has just reduced its manganese ore price for Chinese buyers by 15¢ to $4.90 per dmtu for its benchmark 44.5% Mn grade for October shipment.
Not a good look for Mn ore producers, they need to start reducing shipment, producing more is just driving down the price.
