I'd like to start a sweepstake on this thread. Please place your bets. Nothing up for grabs apart from "CNM REDP Tipster Eternal Glory". Please tip the amount of the grant (I have read the application was for $90 to $100 million but there is only now $300 million to go around for non-solar applications) and the date it will be announced (I have heard 1st or 2nd week of September, but as Acees has pointed out, it is likely to be at the most politically expedient time). To be honest I suspect that in order to divvy it up between all successful applicants it could even be a weird, not very round number, but who knows?
