I wonder what the Jalna financials look like.
Personally I think it would be potentially a very good fit for A2M given the popularity of their ANZ fresh milk, and help to expand sales that insulated from international factors/disruptions. I believe Jalna would already have some independent A2 supply / production capacity, so it would be a matter of consolidation rather than additional set up costs etc.
The licensing arrangement must have been mutually beneficial as it ran for quite a long time. It was already in place in 2010 and the product still carried the A2 branding up until a few years ago.
It looks like they tried to continue for a period selling the A2 yoghurt without the A2 branding, so I'd guess A2M made the decision to pull the branding.
