While I am annoyed of the lack of communication, as it would seem most are

I must say a profiable gold miner is a great business at present

You know how much you product will cost to produce (+- say 5%) a few years in advance.
You always have a buyer, and can lock in buyers/profit going forward

Imagine if JB Hifi, or any manufacturer knew the purchased price say a year in advance, and had clients buying their product regardless of the business confidence/situation in that country.

Sounds like a good business model to me
