That is not what the Nature article you linked is about. ADE can also happen in individuals without being vaccinated, the article has mentioned the 2 types of ADE and the mechanism in which they occur.
The authors note that no definitive role for ADE in human coronaviruses have been established yet.
They are preempting the potential for it to happen in CoVid-19 sufferers (from non-neutralising antibodies). Note that among the solutions they offer include induction/ delivery of high doses of potent neutralising antibodies if ADE becomes established.
Long CoVid has been around before the invention of CoVid vaccines.
