and if I remember correctly - as @copperhead pointed out some time back - the wigs at Scandisk also gave the thumbs down to the technology....
Scandisk swallowed by Toshiba ....swallowed by Kioxia - etc etc
things could have been very different if other events had taken place - glad they didn't
