focussing on today's first ann, this is a fairly major deal being on the S&P ASX 300 now.
what it means is that any fund manager that has an Australian equities small companies mandate, with an index weighting, will have to buy CQT now. This is not huge in itself, but big enough.
most importantly, all fund managers in the aust equities 'small companies' space will now be able to look at and invest in CQT. previously this would not have been allowed due to investment limitations of 'top 300 only'.
in turn, we should see volume pick-up without reason and then even further if the non-index managers actually like the story and choose to invest! could easily be a way out for GFA or even JJ... CQT's hit the big time!
