With the 22nd of October as the expiry date approaching , did Brainchip slightly misjudge the requirement planning or forecasted share price estimations ?
I've said before I'm a fan of the LDA concept. BRN raise capital by selling shares on market rather than discounting to instos. The best time to make a call is when we have peak news to boost the SP. The calls so far have ranged between 10 and 30 trading days so that news flow needs to be sustained, you can't just rely on one price sensitive announcement. Advertising, media presence, marketing and promotion all need to play a part. With this in mind, I think that sponsoring a major tech conference would be part of the plan. The Linley Spring Processor Conference would have been a candidate but the revisions to Akida for the production version may have put an end to that.
Plan B?
As luck would have it the Linley Fall Processor Conference 2021 is scheduled for Oct 20-21 and BRN are gold sponsors.
