Cheers Mick, yes mate I am actually I don't mind saying.

It has been a long road for us all and still not over yet buy a long shot. We have put up with rudeness and at times downright abuse and wrongly accused of all manner of things.

However it is all coming together now and being involved in my very first Ramadhan has brought a certain calming feeling over me.

Anger and regret seem to have dissipated and I spend far more time on productive things like sitting and relaxing and one of my new found joys here. The giving to people who have no chance whatsoever of achieving what I have just done and been doing. The look of joy on their faces when they receive a gift from me is something to behold.

They have a belief here that giving to the poor and less fortunate during Ramadhan will bring back to the giver in a much bigger way. There seems to be an unwritten rule (that I can find anyway) that the more fortunate and in particular the wealthy should give 2.5% of what they earn to others during Ramadhan.

When I look at my percentage gain on PEN my giving pales into insignificance. I feel humbled by these wonderful people and feel a compulsion to give freely where I can.

PEN will facilitate my future security now, I will do what I can to do the same for a few here.
