    Hi tbirdsrgo,

It's somewhat dependant on the type of vaccination etc, but yes natural immunity appears to last longer. Again though, the kicker is that you need to become infected whilst unvaccinated.

Immunity levels are highest for those that experience mild to severe illness, but I don't really want mild to severe illness.

India appears to have reached widespread protection due to mostly previous infection. The issue is it cost 4m-5m people their lives, and left a lot of long term health damage to many survivors.

Fair enough, it's an individual decision. There are also a lot of unknown unknowns re long term effects of contracting COVID whilst unvaccinated too though, not just the immediate increased risk of hospitalisation & death.

    Cheers!
