Get real and start thinking - and perhaps start thinking about the welfare of the whole community rather than just your precious self!

I am vaccinated and, like you, have no fear of the vaccinated. BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!

The science is clear on the fact that the unvaccinated can spread the infection more easily than the vaccinated and, by deduction, that means they can more easily spread the infection to vulnerable people (mainly the old and people of any age who are obese or who have underlying health conditions), irrespective of whether or not those vulnerable people are vaccinated or not.

The vaccines are helpful to people in all situations - but there are matters of degree. For example, a fully vaccinated person of 80 has the same infection probability chance as an unvaccinated 50 year old but much less than an unvaccinated 80 year old.

There is an obvious argument supporting segregation. Simply it is about minimising harms. Why do you think we have laws against drunk driving and speeding? Seen in isolation, they are infringements of freedoms - but they save lives and if penalties are imposed, they result in segregations (between those with a licence and those with a cancelled licence).

I really wish people would think before sounding off. But it appears many are not capable of that!
