The responses did not show positivity towards the post. There is no point creating hard feelings over this. The post is here for those who wish to share, if not that's fine too.

All the trading related experiences I've had usually involve people who are significantly older than me. This was meant to lead to an encouraging thread for those who have started young. I understand the issue with age and people being at different stages in their investing lives, however the young people I know are looking at property because they usually try stocks lose money and get negative prejudice, even to the extent to where I hear my grandparents, and others say I got burnt when I was young and stocks are the 'devil'! lol. I also hear older people saying, 'if only I started when I was younger...". I think stocks are an excellent investment vehicle and sometimes support when we are green with experience and young is all we need.

The forums I have been on for fx were international, and I wanted to form something similar on a local forum. Even with rock climbing you have people who are at different stages at different ages, but they still have an under 18's group, all of who socialise and discuss with the older climbers, no discrimination intended. They also have a newbie's group (I am apart of a rock climbing facility).

Your post suggest that this was meant for young 'new' traders. It was meant for young traders of all experience. There is a big difference between say a 25 year old who started at age 16 to someone trading at 21 with three years experience. Encouragement from these sorts of traders is very valuable at my age. But also, encouragement from older traders is significantly important. Most younger people would rather hit the town than learn about trading. Lessons that could be very useful later on in life. Do you not agree that this can present wonderful learning opportunities?

    Is this still negative?
P.S not just for super, but for non-compulsory trading and way to increase wealth.

If yours and the thoughts of the other HotCopperites gives good reason (as did your previous post) to why this is a negative line of thinking I am happy to accept and move on and drop the whole idea.
