Yes looking at the stats, Southern Cross accounts for approx 76%+ of the total sales.

If it is not for them the SPP should be over 1cent by now.
For the interim period 10/8 - 1/09 the net Buy and sell spread speaks for itself. It is also good to see a few quality institutions /clients are buying. Hope this trend will continue.
Don’t know how much stock Southern Cross/clients has got left to sell but I’ve got a feeling they are mostly selling in the 7s & 8s range. So far they have sold about 3% of the total shares on issue. The sales @ 6s in this period (10/8-1/09) are via Baillieu Stockbroking.
I’m still waiting to get the report for the 3/9 to confirm who is capping the price with volume on that day @ approx 121M.

I’m not too concern with the share price at this point of time. All fundamentals are looking good so far. I’ve done a projection on this company and the fact that we have now surpassed the equilibrium point, the extra increase in the amount of new business Newsat gets will directly translate to an exponential in profits. For example, if we get an extra sale good of $100M per annum it will translated to an approx of 1cent profit per share. One Sat contract ABC sign with the OPTUS is $100M. I believe this penny stock is now a low risk stock and with great growth potential.

Whether there are games played herewith the stock price or not it does not concern me. I’m in for the mid to long term. The decision for shareholders to sell out now is something I cannot understand.
