Squid ...beyond reasonable doubt I believe is the level of guilt which our system is based on. Yes it's probably going to be a tough gig to convict this bloke unless there's evidence which we aren't privy to such as what did the cleaners find when they cleaned up? Logic would tell any reasonable person that something took place in that office which the accused is denying.
